Shea butter and Turmeric possess anti-inflammatory properties to soothe dry, itchy skin. Most of my massage clients who suffer from eczema have experienced relief from using this lotion consistently. Now, as requested by clients this lotion is water based, so there are emulsifiers and preservatives used to create this creamy lotion. Anything water based requires preservatives (And no, Vitamin E Oil, Grapefruit Extract, Citrus Acid are not Preservatives!!)
